Gornall enjoy success at Bolesworth Elite Auction

A Gornall Equestrian’s foal went through the Bolesworth Elite Auction on Thursday 14th June, run in association with Flanders Foal Auction.

Lot 7, Christian’s Son a colt foal born 20/04/2018 made one of the top prices selling at £22,000.

Christian’s Son is one of four Gornall Equestrian foals born in 2018 by Christian 25, one of their main competition stallions. Christian has produced several top offspring including the 2017  Oldenburg mare grading winner; La Marron. Earlier this year she was the price highlight for jumping horses at the Vechta auction, selling for 141,000 euro.

Oak Grove’s Che, out of a Check In mare, is another Christian offspring who has enjoyed great success at an early age. He was licensed for OS-International and as a 5 year old won the opening day of the Bundeschampionate and competed at the World Championships for young horses.

Christian’s Son’s dam, Le Beau, is also owned by Gornall Equestrian and has competed internationally with success up to 1.60m including 2nd Millstreet CSI3* 1.55m, 2nd Great Yorkshire Show 1.60m and 3rd Harthill – Bolesworth CSI4* 1.40m.
