Fantastic Great Yorkshire Show for Gornall

Jamie Gornall had an excellent show at the 160th Great Yorkshire Show earlier this month.

This was Jamie’s first time Showjumping at the event even though it is only 15 minutes down the road from the Gornall base in Kirk Hammerton.

Jamie won the International Stairway Class on Wednesday with Casinni stallion Carsten jumping double clear and finishing on a time of 57.79 sec. He also had a successful show with popular breeding stallion Christian 25 who finished 4th on the first day and then came 2nd in the extremely popular Ripon Select Foods Cock O’ The North after jumping three clear rounds. Christian oozed confidence throughout the rounds putting pressure on Joe Clayton who was the only other rider to make it to the third round.

Jamie now has his sights set on Hickstead CSI5* this week with the two stallions. Count Codex is also jumping at The All England Showground in the international young horse class for 8 year olds.
